Breakfast was okay, but the sink and shower drains smelled like sewer waste; no one was available to fix it, so we had to use stoppers and add water to the drains to make the stay bearable.

The staff went the extra step to provide a way for after‑hours check‑in when our plane was delayed, and the location was close to Garden of the Gods and the Cog Railway.

I liked the location. Nestled in the mountains and easy walking distances to restaurants, convenience stores and and nature trails. And it was easily walkable to a lot of event venues, so if you're coming here for a wedding at the Outrider Hotel or the Craftwood Inn, it's an easy 7-minute walk to most places. I get that this is a two-star hotel. But I was still averaging around $100 a night. In light of that, I would have preferred non-stained and actually dry "clean" towels, and a coffee-maker that wasn't falling apart in the morning. And maybe enough coffee to last me EVERY day I'm going to be here? Especially when I'm not asking cleaning services to come in at all

Hew, at the front desk was exceptional. We were going to take the Cog Train to Pikes Peak and had no idea of where we should park. He answered all of our questions to make it so much easier. We also wanted suggestions for dinner and he had great places for us to go. It's wonderful to have someone answer questions in a way that we understand and have them be so nice about it. He was very patient, and I watched him treat another guest the same way. I did not like the towels. They did not feel dry and they did not dry us off well. I don't know if it is the fabric or the water that they are washed in. But it was not nice
