The wine selection was excellent, the breakfast buffet huge, and we were truly pampered at the welcome aperitif. The whirlpool smelled musty, and the pool’s steep ladder had no continuous railing.

Family‑run, it features bright, wood‑furnished rooms—many with balconies or terrace access—decorated in South‑Tyrolean style. Amenities include a Finnish sauna, indoor pool, steam bath, fitness centre, on‑site Italian restaurant, children’s mini‑club with ski courses, and guided national‑park tours.

The hotel’s location, the view from the rooms, the dinner, and the rooms themselves with their furnishings were all outstanding; breakfast was generous and left little to be desired, and the staff were always friendly. Because of the location, hiking tours could be started directly from the hotel without any hassle, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxed, making us feel very comfortable. In the sauna area there was no soap or shampoo, so either you forego the usual cleaning before a sauna visit or you had to bring the necessary items from your room. Some buffet items were occasionally scarce: natural yoghurt was already gone before the end of breakfast, and bread was offered only in-house baked (with limited variety). In that case, first come, first served applied. While this might be commendable for sustainability and avoiding food waste, it can be a bit annoying for guests who aren’t “early birds”.

Breakfast was very good.

Family‑friendly, but the service staff could improve, the food was mediocre, and the breakfast selection could be optimized.
