Nestled in a private garden in Dobbiaco, B&B Hotel Heidi offers Tyrolean‑style rooms just 500 m from the Rienz ski resort. Each room features handmade wooden décor, a flat‑screen TV, and some include balconies or exposed beams. Guests enjoy a free sauna, BBQ, sun terrace, and daily breakfast buffet with cold cuts, cheeses, and croissants.

The room was spacious with a balcony, clean, and the breakfast was superb.

Nothing positive. The room smelled like sewage coming from the bathroom drain; the remote had dead batteries and didn’t work; the TV was tiny; the bathroom was very small and old; and the owner ignored our complaints and treated us poorly.

I booked at the last minute and was handed a tidy, orderly apartment. I slept well, the breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and I recommend it.

It’s an old hotel that feels like a childhood summer camp by the lake. The surroundings are lovely and romantic, with grazing cattle, a train passing through the mountains, and a mountain river nearby, but the hotel itself looks like a rundown summer cottage. I wouldn’t recommend it.
