The silence, the stunning views, and the extreme cleanliness made for a cozy stay, and watching the stars in the hot tub was a highlight; the sky was so clear with no light pollution. Wildlife was abundant nearby, with the lake hosting various birds and bulls in the field behind the lodge. It was an amazing place to unwind and relax—10/10, definitely coming back! Nothing was missing; it was a perfect trip.

The location was great and the lodge had plenty of space. The hot tub was fantastic and spotless, and I liked the shampoo, body wash, and the complimentary robes. There was plenty of tea and coffee too. However, the bedroom carpets were quite dirty, a dirty drink glass lay on the floor near the hot tub, a wicker lantern with a broken glass holder was left in the garden, and we found a used, dirty frying pan in the cupboard.

The location was nice and peaceful, and the hot tub was perfect. There wasn’t a lounge area, but I still enjoyed the kitchen area.

A lovely cosy lodge in a peaceful spot for a quiet weekend away and we loved soaking in the hot tub on a very relaxing night! Fishing was an added bonus, we had a great time catching plenty of fish during our stay. Many friends have been asking where we stayed and will also want to book; we will definitely return for a longer stay! The only downside was one of the light bulbs outside the hot tub was out, so more lighting around the fence would have helped, but otherwise everything was fine.
