Kyriaki Hotel

“Hotel was clean and pool was nice, a working kitchen would be appreciated for longer stays.”

The pool was great and the garden lovely, but the plastic glasses were a let‑down. The wardrobe only had hangers, no shelves, and the fridge ice box wasn’t cold enough to keep ice frozen. There was no nearby cleaning service or washing machine available.

“Very relaxing, a mixture of sight seeing and beach time. Great swimming, beautiful clear water.”

We enjoyed slow, relaxed breakfasts served by Joseph, the host, and spent a calm time by the pool. The spot was quiet and just a short, safe walk from the local beach, which offered great swimming. A quick stroll also brought us to the main road where buses to Chania run frequently. This side of Crete opens up easy access to gorges and other spectacular beaches, and day‑tour coaches pick up nearby. Joseph was a lovely man, very attentive and helpful throughout.

“Wir sind unglaublich dankbar für den tollen Urlaub!”

The hotel operators were incredibly kind and accommodating, helping us with everything from calling a taxi to personal matters involving a hospital in Chania. They speak very good English, are very attentive, and stay present all day. The hotel also has a huge, clean pool. We would have liked more kitchen equipment, although breakfast and lunch are provided at the hotel. Across the street is a fantastic restaurant with an amazing atmosphere.
