Located in picturesque Caraíva, Pousada do Guga offers free WiFi access and a spacious garden for exploration. Each guestroom features simple yet cosy décor, a balcony, and a private bathroom with shower. Amenities include outdoor seating, bed linen, and air conditioning. A buffet breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room, offering fresh fruits, breads, cold meats, and hot and cold drinks.

Caraíva is an absolutely amazing place, and the Pousada do Guga welcomed us warmly during our 13‑day stay. It’s very well situated, only about 5 minutes on foot from the beach, 3 minutes from the village church, and 2 minutes from the Xandó entrance. We stayed in the local Casa de Temporada, a cozy little house that was clean and well organized. It was spacious, had two bedrooms, and air conditioning in both the rooms and the living‑kitchen area. The house was cleaned frequently by the lodge staff, so even with our longer stay it remained tidy and neat. There was also a nice little balcony where the delicious breakfast was served, made by Néia, a very attentive staff member who kept the house always clean and fragrant and also gave us tasty tapiocas and scrambled eggs. We received excellent service throughout our stay from the lodge manager, Adriana, who provided all the care and information we needed for our trip. As a cherry on top, the lodge has three cute cats, one of which (Shivinha) came by every day to ask for affection. We recommend the Pousada do Guga without hesitation, and when we return to Caraíva, we will definitely stay there again! I liked everything!

I loved staying here. Dri and Néia are wonderful people and gave us all the help we needed to have a comfortable stay. The facilities are very cozy, the mosquito net on the bed is a nice touch, the shower is hot, and breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The banana tapioca will be missed, as will all the energy of this place. The location is great, close to the church square. I appreciate all Dri’s attention, especially her understanding and concern for my elderly father's well‑being. When I return to Caraíva, I’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you! It was all wonderful!
