Previously it was good and close to our fishing spots. When we arrived the front desk had booked the wrong room: we were supposed to have a king but got doubles and one had something on the comforter. The staff corrected it and gave us a king room, but that room had mold on the ceiling near the bed and the lampshades were rusted, as if the air was damp and they had been replaced.

The place sits right next to the interstate and is on the ground floor, so getting in and out is a breeze. The rooms were clean, but the breakfast was almost nothing and sometimes not offered at all. Trying to talk to the owner was tough because he barely spoke English.

I could bring my pets, which was a plus. The bed sheets and towels were stained, my room was booked for someone else while we were in it, so at 9 pm someone opened my door and the staff didn’t apologize. My bank account was charged twice, again no apology. There was mold/mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom.

The management lied to me and said the king room I had already paid for wasn’t available, so they gave me a double room. I found the owners in the parking lot and got them to switch my room.
