The location was splendid, the bed was good, the food was spectacular, and the staff were extremely friendly, though the stay was so short that it felt a bit brief.

The place was quiet, but the room was old and smelled like fried food from the kitchen on the top floor, probably because the vent was next to us with the window closed, the mattress was uncomfortable and old, and the bathroom was neglected. I booked and paid 110€ per night via Booking, yet when we checked out they wanted to charge us 95€ for the stay, even though I had already paid through the app, which I didn’t understand – they were trying to double‑charge. The dinner was pricey for what they offered; I ordered a steak carpaccio and got shredded meat slices for 25€. We went to breakfast and there was no ham, even though we were in Aracena, and they told us the bread was sliced; we had coffee and left for breakfast in town. We had high expectations from the reviews and left genuinely disappointed.

The pool and balcony were amazing, but there was no breakfast even though it was advertised as one of the best features, which was very disappointing and inconvenient; the staff seemed either absent or swamped with chores.

The facilities are beautiful, the tranquility of the area, the restaurant has a magnificent terrace and the pool is very calm. All reasons to come back. In the town there isn’t a single bar open, you have to go to Aracena or stay in the hotel.
