The hotel’s central and the staff are helpful, but the air‑con was broken, the terrace room I paid extra for was not a terrace, the toiletries promised were missing, and all we got after asking was a bottle of hand soap – no shampoo or shower gel. Ants were everywhere in the room and bathroom.

I slept fairly well. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was actually great. The room looked nothing like the photos, and after booking for four nights I left after just one. Walking the alleys in the medina is quite scary, all dark, and then a vague alley leading up to the Dar Rehla door – we thought we’d run out of time for the last hour 😅.

The location is decent. It’s very basic, no place to hang clothes, the wifi is spotty, and there’s no soap or hair dryer. I emailed them before arrival for a question and they didn’t reply.

The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel – homemade and plentiful. The terrace views were amazing. It’s hard to find though.

The spot is great, right in the medina and close to the city center. The only downside is that it’s hard to locate.
