Communication was impossible because the host didn't speak English and we didn't speak French, which was a shame.

The room was spacious and the bed was good, and the surroundings were quiet, and the host was very friendly, but the place was dirty: the tables and chairs on the balcony were filthy (you couldn't sit on them), there was a dirty stain on the sink, the floors were dirty everywhere, especially in the breakfast room, and although other guests praised the breakfast, we found it sparse and the bread was stale; the host and gentleman spoke everything in French, making it hard to communicate if you don't understand; there was no coffee upstairs, nor any glasses or other tableware.

Our room was very large and bright with a beautiful view of the countryside, the weather was good so we used the table just outside our sliding doors, the kitchenette was adequate for our needs, the shower was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet, we had a large breakfast with generous amounts of food, the village is a farming community which I really enjoyed, the only traffic was farm machinery coming back from the fields, I enjoyed the sounds of the animals and watching the swallows in the evening, it was very relaxing, but there are no restaurants or grocery stores—just inconvenient; the deck was shared with other guests, we kept our drapes closed for privacy because they had to walk by our windows to take the stairs down, the biggest issue was that the deck was used by smokers as a smoke pit, and one morning we woke at 6 A.M. because our room stunk of cigarette smoke from someone smoking on the deck without closing the door.

The breakfast was very good with soft eggs, cheese, butter, yogurt, baguette, jams, cakes, especially the dark bread with cereals was delicious, the hosts were very friendly and communicated nicely through a speaking translator, the garden was beautiful and fragrant with jasmine, and we used the place as a layover and would recommend it for several days.
