A Place at the Beach

The location was perfect, right on the water, the pool was well maintained, the AC was definitely working, and there were plenty of towels and linens; for a few minor inconveniences they allowed a later check‑out time free of charge and added a TV to our room. For what I paid per night, I was kinda disappointed in the condition of the room, to be honest – the drain was rusty in the kitchen sink, the beds were kinda hard, and the shower curtain in the main bathroom was too short so water splashed onto the floor. Upon arrival they told us we’d have to change rooms mid‑stay; this was never communicated to us until check‑in, which was an inconvenience that made me pause after having to deal with an overlooking at another hotel and our reservation was canceled because of that. I also disliked having to take out our own trash.

“Would not stay here again or recommend”

The location was a good area, but the cleanliness, lack of amenities, room layout and outdated feel were not worth the price, and the staff were not helpful.

The location was fine, but the rooms are very tight – we were sold a unit for 6 people while it’s impossible to fit more than 4. We were also told we needed to evacuate the room and change it the next day; we told them this was not acceptable and decided to leave. They have not refunded our money yet.

The room’s design and the view were good, but there was a roach in the bathroom and we had to switch rooms.

“If it wasn’t for Mr. Tyrone we probably would have left that first day.”

Mr. Tyrone was the best thing about this property. It wasn’t clean, we walked in to a shit stain on our shower curtain. The next morning we woke up and it smelled like mildew for the remainder of the trip. I almost broke my toe on the pool drain cover that was lifted. It is very outdated and needs an upgrade
