The pool at the bottom of the stairs was amazing – a cool experience to stay here. The host was very helpful, recommended many restaurants, and had great communication skills. However, there were some mouldy areas that were unavoidable when the pool was part of the room; otherwise it was clean.

The location was relatively close to the historic centre. The room was very damp and had a strong stale smell. There was a dehumidifier in the room to reduce the humidity (still between 70 and 80%) and we had to empty the tank twice in less than 12 h! The spa pump was supposed to run until 21 h, but the noise it made was unbearable, so we had to shut it off. Cleaning also needed improvement because we had to sweep ourselves. The worst value for money of our stay in Puglia!

It’s pretty and centrally located. It has what was advertised. Nothing worked, which is a pity because it has a lot of potential. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, the bathroom light wouldn’t turn on, the master bedroom bed was full of lumps and didn’t sleep well, only 3 of 7 spa lights worked, there was a lot of moisture despite the dehumidifier. They came late to fix the house (when we were already inside), didn’t give us the key code until we called them several times… in short, too many small faults in one day.

The accommodation is close to the historic centre and restaurants. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the pool because the water was cold (technical issue). We were only there for one night and the essential toiletries – shower gel and shampoo – were missing.
