I stayed in a spacious apartment that felt comfortable and was right next to plenty of cafes and a food mart. Nothing else was an issue.

The place is in a fantastic spot and the staff were fabulous. However, the room that was advertised as a suite with a full kitchen turned out to be just a motel‑style kitchenette with barely enough counter space for food prep, and the bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a freight train but never actually vented.

This hotel is fabulous value for Toronto. It is in a terrific location. It is very, very clean, it is great to have a kitchenette, and the staff are exceptional. Note that this was my second stay, so I knew about the stairs from the parking garage to the elevator. I can manage them, but other customers need to know. A severe mobility limitation would make the parking lot situation impossible. Curtains: I would prefer curtains. Proper black-out curtains. And I cannot use a breakfast bar with stools. So, next time I will ask for a suite with a table and chairs. I will also ask for a step-in shower. There are many types and varieties of suites I can book next time, and I am very happy with my recent stay
