The location was fantastic, everything was very clean, the host was very friendly and approachable, explained all the local attractions, and the atmosphere was great with all the necessary accommodations for our stay. I liked everything.

We were greeted by Diogo as if we were long‑time friends, with a warm reception. He gave us many suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. The space is very cozy, giving the feeling of being at home. The room was comfortable with everything needed. The location was unbeatable: we barely left and were on street 19 with a huge number of shops, cafés, etc., and just a few meters away are the beaches. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area! A big thank you to Diogo and Big Mama.

The hosts were exceptional, showing a rare kindness. Diogo and his mother were extremely accommodating, patient as we practiced our Portuguese, and offered great tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house itself was very nice. Surf sessions at the beach were excellent, and a visit to Porto was easily reachable by train in 20 minutes. The train station is a 10‑minute walk from the hostel, so we didn’t need a car. We recommend it 100 % for families. A few people were at the water, but it wasn’t as crowded as France in August. Espinho isn’t a very pretty city, but it’s very livable, with a shopping street and restaurants.

The accommodation has a perfect location in town. The rooms are large and spacious, the bathroom is always clean, and the kitchen is big. The stay is great, but the biggest treasure is the host Diogo, who always helps with everything, sends all the tips for places, restaurants, surf schools—anything you want. We felt truly at home there. The best hostel in all of Portugal we’ve ever encountered. Thank you!

Everything was very good. We were very comfortable. It’s a great spot to rest and enjoy Espinho. Excellent treatment from Diogo and his mother. We’ll come back. Nothing to add.
