Best Western Plus Hotel Galileo Padova, located on the River Piovego's banks, offers a strict Special Protection Program for guest safety. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms and suites with minibar, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom. Breakfast is buffet-style, with Ristorante Venezia and Café Galileo on site. The hotel is next to Giotto Shopping Centre, 50 metres from a bus stop to Padua's historic centre and train station.

The place was clean and in a good spot, and the beds were comfy, plus breakfast was pretty decent. But it felt weird – they charged €15 for pots in the apartment’s kitchen, the pool never opens for guests, and it seemed like only one staff member handled everything in the evenings. They also had you fill out a survey for a basic amenities kit, which felt very unwelcoming.

The hotel was super comfy, sparkling clean, and the staff were friendly. It was a bit out of the city center, but a public bus will get you there.

We had a horrible check‑in because the receptionist was a young woman who seemed bored and didn’t understand simple things, costing us half an hour. The line behind us had the same frustrating experience. Aside from that, the hotel itself was fine.
