“Good but you can find better value for money”

Great swimming pools. The restaurants and bars in the resort are pricey; it’s better to grab a dinner in Hoi An. Too many people at breakfast, staff can’t clean tables quickly, and some cutlery/cups are dirty. There are huge inflatables that can be hired in the pool, and people use them in the kids’ pool, which I believe is very unsafe when pre‑schoolers are in the pool; staff doesn’t look after safety when those inflatables are used. We were not given the room we booked, so we had to stay there one night and change on the second day.

Beachfront breakfast options. Could be cleaner. Not enough beach chairs for hotel guests, and guests fought over chairs.

I really liked the villa and its location next to the private beach. Brian Dinh is a super manager; we originally booked a 250 m² villa, but he upgraded us to 350 m² and also helped book a table at one of the shows where a Vietnamese bank credit card was required. It gets very hot to swim in the sea during the day, and the beach closes at 18:00, so the private pool is just perfect. Breakfast can be ordered to the private kitchen at any time.

Nice beach and pools. 1. The staff is not really kind. Both at the reception, and at the bar, the staff behaves not really politely and even ordering a coffee or cocktail is unpleasant experience. 2. The breakfast is very overcrowded, and the problem can be solved by just extending the breakfast, but the breakfast is till 10:00 only. It’s very loud in the restaurant and uncomfortable. 3. Facilities at the beach are quite old and outdated. 4. No water at the beach, also they provide only 2 small bottles of water daily

“Schönes Hotel, direkt am Strand”

Clean, nicely furnished rooms, good breakfast buffet, good location, directly on the beach and close to town (a Grab ride away), friendly staff. The communication (except at the reception) is very, very difficult; unfortunately, in Vietnam little English is spoken, even in upscale five‑star hotels. Also there are an unnaturally large number of children, which isn’t necessarily a negative since it’s not an adults‑only hotel.
