Around 5 pm to 6 pm I could hear a huge clanging noise coming from a room where they were apparently fixing a door; the door was being slammed open and shut repeatedly, echoing “don” through the corridor. After a long day of sightseeing most guests are tired, so they really should have chosen a different time slot or at least warned us in advance.

This was my second time staying here and, despite being in Ekichika, the place was surprisingly quiet and perfect for a bare‑bones night. I can’t think of any real drawbacks; the only thing that would make it a bit better would be an extra face towel.
