The coffee was excellent, the staff are very polite and helpful, and the site’s history is fascinating, though it’s a bit far from the city center.

Breakfast was very complete and tasty, with a gluten‑free option. The location is unbeatable, close to the river with beautiful landscaping. Access to the accommodation was in good condition and easy to reach. The staff were super kind and attentive. The only issue was the coordination of activities, which were run with guests from another lodge (same group) and that complicated the timing. Another point to note is the dining area, which only served breakfast; lunch and dinner were offered at the other lodge’s restaurant, which was not varied and expensive. We had to order delivery, which we arranged ourselves.

Very well maintained. Nothing.

Beautiful hotel in nature with jungle trails to explore. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower was fine. The staff were friendly. The downside was the dinner and lunch options; the hotel is remote, so you’ll definitely need a car to go out to eat, otherwise you’re stuck eating there and the food is quite bad, very scanty, and people don’t fill up on those tiny, costly dishes. Breakfast had very few fruit options (only orange and grapes all days we stayed) and it would be good to add eggs. The pool was sometimes very dirty; more maintenance (removing leaves) would help.

It’s in the middle of the jungle, which you have to consider logistically, but that’s what makes it beautiful—you’re in nature. The place has a very special mystique, a lot of history that I recommend exploring through their guided activities. The staff were exceptional, they behaved wonderfully during our stay. They didn’t just attend to us, they cared for us. The only downside was that the meal times are very specific and you have to notify in advance if you’ll need the service. As a Mexican I can say that eggs are missing from the breakfast.
