The hotel's lack of contract with the booking platform I used meant I had to wait for a refund, which was a real hassle. On the plus side, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel's inflexibility with refunds left a sour taste.

I was shocked when the hotel refused to honour my booking, claiming I didn't have a reservation, and I had to find another place to stay. Luckily, they eventually refunded my money after I complained. The whole experience was a nightmare, but at least I got my money back in the end.
