A Hawaiian‑style pool, roomy rooms, a small kitchen and reasonable rates made it perfect for families with children. The only downside was the parking attendant at the front entrance who kept saying “I don’t know” when I asked for directions; even after I explained I was pregnant and had permission to park there, he just repeated “I don’t know” and refused to move the cones, leaving me wondering why he was even standing there.
