Nice, cozy cabins on a forested campground; the lobby and restaurant are about 200 m away. The toilets are clean and the staff are friendly. Good value for the Glacier National Park. However, as many others mentioned, the track is less than 50 m behind the campground. Several freight trains run up the mountain at night. If that bothers you, this stay isn’t for you. It didn’t bother us much, especially since the price for the Glacier National Park was fairly reasonable.

I stayed at the Glacier Haven Inn and it was a solid experience; the room was small yet snug, the food was fantastic, and the owners—Darren and MoLi—were genuinely friendly and helpful, even making new friends along the way. I’d definitely return and recommend it highly, though I didn’t stay for an extended period.

On the last day of our trip to Glacier National Park, before heading to Missoula’s airport, Glacier Haven Inn turned out to be the ideal place. The facilities were spotless, the bathroom even had a bathtub for a post‑hike soak, and the bed was comfy with a roomy feel. Despite its proximity to the road, traffic was barely audible with the door closed. Parking was convenient right in front of the room, just a few steps from the café, which stayed open until 9 pm and served tasty Asian rice and noodle dishes. The host, though a bit quirky, was kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. A single night there was very comfortable, and I’ll definitely book again.

The hotel sits directly behind train tracks, so trains pass throughout the night and the thin walls let the noise in. The room itself was clean and the beds were adequate. Dining room food was decent, but there was no breakfast offered, and the coffee in the room was only enough for a single cup per person. For travelers heading to Medicine Lake or nearby, the stated 20‑30 minute travel time is misleading—it actually takes almost an hour.
