The room was relatively clean, but the pool was not safe to swim in and there was no communication about it. A toaster and kettle were in the room, but no spoons, plates or knives were provided.

The location was good, close to major sights and the airport, with undercover parking and keypad‑coded doors so you didn’t have to keep a key. The interior wasn’t spotless – a bit dusty, probably from the bush – and the furnishings felt a little worn.

Lori in laundry was super helpful and moved us straight to a room with a better fridge. The new room was bright, airy, with a comfy bed, a decent microwave and kettle. Reception was unmanned and there was no phone contact, so we had to search for staff after arriving just before 6 pm. I needed a freezer for medication, but the fridge’s freezer was iced up and had no space, so defrosting after guests left would help. A map of the motel and clear instructions for the pool, laundry and barbecue would also be useful.
