I never had any positive moments; the rooms were under repair and dirty. There was no staff present, and they didn't even know we were coming. Parking was unavailable, the rooms were still being fixed, and there was a lot of dust. They offered alternatives, but the door latch wouldn't close.

The location is convenient because you don't have to leave the main road; it's a hotel to sleep in and that's it. From the start, the reception staff were terrible and had a very despotic attitude. In the room, there were cockroaches and mice; we noticed the mouse droppings on the shelf the next morning. The internet was awful, and the pool looked like a dirty basin; I wouldn't recommend swimming there. If I ever go back to Escarcega, I won't stay at this hotel again.
