“Bella vista a San Juan del sur.”

The spot was beautiful, clean, orderly, with a stunning view and fresh rooms, and the wind from the hill made it feel breezy; the only downside was getting to the place.

The pool, the view, the calm, and the free shuttle to the city center made it a truly superb spot!

This is the most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed in; the view alone is worth every cent, especially at sunset. The hostel itself is lovingly decorated, offers plenty to do on site—whether it’s the huge pool, relaxing in a hammock, playing billiards, or borrowing board games. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses are very soft, the cooling is good, and everything is spotless. Even though we were initially worried that it seemed far from the city, that turned out to be no issue because shuttles run three times a day and taxis are readily available after a five‑minute walk down the hill. What really sets this place apart is the incredible warmth of the staff. Daniel, one of the owners, takes great care of guests, as does Carlos, the second receptionist. The rest of the team is also very friendly and helpful; the shuttle drivers even make a strong effort to speak slow Spanish or use a translator so everyone can keep up. For me, it’s a real hidden gem, especially for travelers craving peace and a great time in nature. I’ll definitely return!

“Excelente”

The staff and the view were great, and everything else was lovely—nothing else to complain about.

“It’s a really peaceful place”

The pool and breakfast were great, but the mattress left something to be desired.
