The bed was good and the location lively, but the sink drain stank awful and they tried to mask it with air fresheners instead of fixing the issue (see photos). The bathroom was full of mold spots (see photos) and the sound insulation was poor. Even though the room was on the 5th floor, the windows were poorly insulated, so I couldn't get any rest. The front‑desk staff spoke only Turkish, so I had to bring a cleaning lady to translate. Despite having a late check‑out, they removed my luggage from the room and left it in the hallway downstairs. Since the reception was rarely staffed, anyone could just walk in and take the bags.

It’s in a prime spot right in the middle of the action, but be aware it can get noisy late at night. The place was very dirty, especially the bathroom. When we arrived a cockroach crawled out from under the bed. The bathroom needs a full makeover; it was thick with black mold in the grout and corners, and the ceiling looked like it had suffered previous leaks. The safe didn’t work, and the cupboard doors kept coming off their hinges.
