The hotel is very well situated, but the reception was a young woman who didn’t speak any French at all, which is surprising in France. The room was on the top floor (third without an elevator) and under the roof, and it was really tiny. There was no toilet paper when we arrived, and the last flush hadn’t been pulled. The shower was tiny and some tiles were missing, and we had to wait 10 minutes for hot water. It cost 160 euros per night, which is very expensive for this type of service; I would have paid no more than 30.

The location was fine, but the street parties at night created a huge racket that kept me from sleeping; the room itself was tiny, shabby and poorly maintained, with lights that wouldn’t turn on, a cramped layout and everything looking old and falling apart.
