The location was great, parking was easy, and the kitchen was excellent. There were no negatives.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the waiters at the restaurant were attentive. Breakfast had a higher standard, but on one morning the eggs were missing in every form; however, the wider selection of sausages and cold cuts balanced it out.

The staff were nice, the hotel had an elevator, the town center and interesting spots were nearby. When we headed early into the mountains we were given provisions, and parking spots close to the hotel were available (the hotel issues parking cards, weekends are free). Breakfast was tasty, but the coffee from the machine was awful – better to pay at the bar. Even without air‑conditioning, the temperature was fine on very hot days, and we had a room on the top floor. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel had a restaurant and many different places nearby. On the downside, some guests might not like the trophies of hunted animals displayed in the lobby and restaurant.

The hotel is in a pleasant sleeping town, next to a beautiful basilica. The rooms were tidy, there was a lift, breakfast was tasty with many options, and the hotel’s café at the bottom allows you to have dinner. You can get to the mountains by car quite quickly.
