The only bright side of Fontaine Blue is its location. The staff were rude, unprepared, and poorly trained; the hotel itself was dirty, noisy, and the shower was terrible—an experience best forgotten.

I’m not the first time at this hotel. This time the room I got not what I booked and paid for. Terrible experience! I paid for Luxury Suite and got Deluxe room… Please be careful. I got a room with one bathroom and I booked for 2 . Traveled with 4 people and room set up for 2. Carpet dirty and smells, refrigerator soooo old and looks dirty, one of TV broke in 2 days and staff came to replace it at 10 pm , door in the bathroom very loose and I cut my finger, furniture is old, spotted, air filter is so dirty I can say probably more but I will stop here

We were cancelled less than 24 hours before arrival.

“beautiful studio, great location, disappointing experience”

The place was in a prime spot in South Beach, near the beach and the Art Deco District, and only 25 minutes from the airport. The studio we had booked fell through at the last minute, but we were offered a different studio that turned out to be very beautiful, clean, and well equipped. However, the host’s last‑minute switch caused confusion at check‑in and a delay. One bed was missing, so we had to order an extra bed ourselves and pay $60 per night, even though the change was the host’s fault. We were also charged a $155 cleaning fee that was never mentioned beforehand, plus an $80 service fee for a service that never happened. At check‑out I was told to contact the host directly, which was disappointing. The overall complex quality—pool, terraces, cushions, towels—was subpar for a property like this. The pool was dirty, lounge chairs and sofas were in bad shape and unclean, and the entrance doors and windows weren’t well maintained. The whole place felt like it didn’t prioritize cleanliness or guest service, despite what the listings claimed. While the studio itself was fine, I wasn’t happy with the complex, the service, or the lack of pricing transparency.
