The place was very clean and conveniently located near the Opera House, where we saw a show. I was disappointed that the bar/restaurant was closed.

Friendly staff and a charming old hotel, but it needed a touch of cleaning, love, and care to reach its potential. The place was dirty and shabby, with electrical cords everywhere that looked like a fire hazard. I never saw the restaurant or the bar open during my stay, and when I checked out the staff told me the hotel was shutting down and everyone lost their jobs.

Breakfast was limited but fine for our purposes, and the hotel was within walking distance of everything, making it very convenient.

The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant and bar area were fantastic, with plenty of free parking. The historic building had a cool porch, which was a bit chilly but had a fireplace. The mattresses could use a slight upgrade, and the bathroom door handles were very loose, although the exterior door and locks felt very secure.
