“A nightmare”

The bus stop was close and getting to the train station was easy, which saved us from spending five minutes in the hotel. The pool area was infested with rats, and the staff seemed to think that was normal; the director apparently accepted it. Manager Isabel said she’d contacted someone, but they claimed there was nothing they could do, no refund, no action. The whole property was rat‑infested, and we didn’t even get two minutes of a full week. I had two rooms; my daughter had to leave room three days before the end because it was infested with ants. I would never go back or book anything again.

The location is convenient for a star‑tour. The hotel is very nice with a stunning view! The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good. However, several things really bothered us: extra‑charge for the breakfast omelets; towels for the pool cost extra; a lot of ants and bees around the pool and especially a huge number of mosquitoes in the courtyard and pool area, which was very unpleasant and disruptive—no way to sit. And the room was full of ants on the bed and pillows! We asked for a pest control visit, but it didn’t help. We encountered dismissive staff. No water or ice was available to guests; when we asked to fill a water bottle in the bar, we met unpleasant faces. The pool was very cold, to the point that it was hard to get in. There was no coffee station in the room. We asked to heat something small for the kids in the hotel microwave, and they didn’t respond. Overall, there was no desire to make us satisfied. When I complained about the ants, the front‑desk clerk said it was because we ate in the room—completely wrong! When I complained about the mosquitoes, the reply was a very sarcastic “so don’t go into the pool.” Music is banned in the pool. Basically, it’s not a place for families. We were disappointed. The hotel could have been lovely, but the management and service ruined the experience. It’s a pity—just a bit more attention to guests, cleanliness, and service could have made it much better.

“Super !”

The room was very clean. Incredible views from the rooftop, the room, and the pool. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were good. It would help if the rooms were a bit better insulated, especially at night, to avoid being woken by noisy neighbours.

“Excelente localização com vistas fantásticas”

Location, room balcony, views, parking, rooftop, and friendly staff. The room’s air conditioning was aimed directly at the beds, which made it uncomfortable when it was hot.
