It was very clean. The owners weren’t very friendly. I checked in with my baby and my boyfriend and he was harassed about not smoking in the room and where did he come from. It was strange because my baby is 5 months old why he smoke anywhere close to his kid, also my booking stated 2 adults were going to be in the room and he was asked where did he come from it’s a extra charge. I didn’t appreciate that it was rude and we paid for our stay before arriving so we had no choice but to stay

The room was spacious and clean, and Jay handled the check‑in superbly. I’ll definitely return. The only downside was the peephole, which had tissue inside; that needs fixing.

The room was clean and the shower was great, but the bed felt a bit too firm for my taste, and there could have been more bath towels.

Nothing. 105 degrees with a relative humidity of 80% when we exited our carriage to check in for our rooms. Ready for some real air conditioning. It’s July/August in Texas. Remember those days when you sought relief at hotels after a long hot ride in a 1985 caprice wagon and you Opened the door to the room and waiting was good cold air?? Not here….the room temperature was 112 degrees and the humidity again was at, we’ll call it 80% lol. So, coupled with the heat, pee warm soaked walls, sheets(or lack thereof…the stench in this room was/is unbearable. I turn the year 2000 unit on(digital so it’s the real tech you just don’t see anywhere) and to my surprise it blew cold. Left the room to walk to the convenience store(which is convenient) and let the room cool down. Got back and that smell….ugh that smell. So I leave the room and sit at the pool that is apparently open 24/7. Sat outside all night(I’ll deal with the mosquito bites) cause the room is just icky. Go in finally because I have to get some sleep right? Pull the blankets back to reveal a base cover sheet but no sheet to sleep under. Instead in room 120 your sheet will be one of those old brown static blankets that have that odd 200 grit feel but it’s made of cotton so it’s confusing to the sense feel. Anywho I’m like maybe there is a sheet in the cupboards(kitchen with 4 burner stove top, drawers, refrigerator, microwave etc. everything you need to cook a meal MINUS plates/bowls/silverware/napkins and everything else. No sheet can I find. But I did find the spiderwebs and what appears to be some very obvious saturated wood AKA old with a M for the capital letter of OLD. Bingo! That’s the smell I first smelt when I entered this Shole. Truckers who live on the road STAY AWAY. DO NOT try and seek your mandatory rest or for that matter any type of stay here. The place smells, trash cans outside are overflowing. Zero parking, zero food in the area
