“Pour être au frais sans clim 😊”

The welcome was friendly and the place felt fresh, even at 1500 m altitude. But honestly we didn’t expect this: we searched for a spot not too far from Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, and while it seemed fine, the mini‑container bungalows are really tiny—two of them barely fit any luggage unless you use the third one, which is on the opposite side. It’s extremely noisy, with a road right below, and there’s no Wi‑Fi. The mountain is completely scarred by hundreds of these units, looking like a ski resort without the lifts. The blackout curtains are too narrow, missing about 50 cm on the bay window, so there’s no privacy. It’s pricey; we’re paying for the view and altitude. For those of us who live in the mountains, this is a letdown. Also, don’t trust the distances shown on Booking for nearby attractions; the “as‑the‑air” km can double or triple on Google Maps. It’s awful!

The service was good, the owner was very kind and adorable. In the morning, the pork congee was tasty, with stir‑fried veggies, omelette, and glass noodles. Across from the lodging is a convenience shop, quick and the view is great with good weather. The only downside is there’s no staircase to the accommodation; you have to climb a steep road, which might not suit older guests.

The location is excellent, the room is a glass room that lets you see the outside from inside, and there’s a rooftop terrace for panoramic views.
