Very nice, old, authentic, large Italian house with great view and location. Tourist attractions are a quiet drive away. If you have to bring your luggage from the parking, it’s a good workout because there are steps to climb and the hotel sits on a steep hill.

I traveled with my partner and we loved the tranquility of the place. A very spacious, clean, and tidy house. Riccardo, the host, is very friendly, speaks many languages, and recommended places to visit in Italy.

Riccardo was very helpful and kind; the property is quite dated but well maintained. Free parking is included and convenient for reaching various spots around Genoa. To reach the building you park below, then climb a staircase, and at night this is difficult because there is no lighting.

The kitchen and room were nice, but getting there was almost impossible—though it says it’s handicap friendly, that’s not true. There were a bunch of odd rules, like no soda or sweets in the room, no shoes outside the door, and you have to put 4 kg of laundry in the machine to use it. Ricardo, the host, was almost always there, making us feel watched; he’d sit and eat in the kitchen while we were there and insisted we sweep the floor and wash dishes while cooking, which was really uncomfortable sometimes. And there was no internet at all.
