The breakfast was great. the room was spacious and well lit. The bed was comfortable and plenty of towels and toiletries were available. There is a lift even though this is an old building. There is a small supermarket with a good selection of food. The restaurant is no longer available and dinner options in the town are limited. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The car parking system is good once you have checked in but this means parking on the street at the beginning of your stay to do so

We have stayed at the property before and have always found the management and staff very pleasant and helpful. The property is in a perfect location. The apartment we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very well equipped, although I had not realised that our appartment was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to negotiate. When I went to check in I found the manager fairly unwelcoming, especially as we had stayed at least four or five times either at the hotel itself or in one of the apartments. There was barely a smile from him and also we went to the apartment block where we had stayed previously, not knowing that we were in another one nearby, so we had to return to the hotel for directions. He should have told us exactly where when we checked in. We very much like the village, but we are reluctant to return to the Altkolnischerhof because of their casual attitude. When you come back to a hotel you like and where you have stayed various times, it is strange to be treated so casually

I liked the location and how big the apartment was. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Need bigger trash cans as well
