I'm still trying to figure out how this place stays in business. The exterior looks like it's been abandoned for years, and when I arrived, I had to call the hotel to get someone to turn the power on and let me in. The room itself wasn't great - it smelled of mold and had ants crawling all over the place. But, to be fair, the AC did work once I figured out how to turn it back on after a power outage.

The real gem of this place is the host - he's super friendly and genuinely wants to make sure you have a great time. He's always available to answer questions and give recommendations on the best spots to visit. The location itself is pretty central, making it easy to get around and explore the area. However, the rooms are a bit on the small side, but they're clean and comfortable, so it's not a huge deal.

We stopped here to break up our long drive and it was a good choice, mainly because they're pet-friendly. The ground floor unit we had was convenient, with parking right outside the door. The owners were also super accommodating, whipping up burgers at 5am and serving our free breakfast dinner. Unfortunately, the burgers themselves were a bit of a letdown - they were rock hard, but the patties were actually pretty tasty, so we just ended up eating those.
