It was good overall, but there were no hooks in the shower to hang towels, so I had to hang them on the door handle.

The hotel sits in a good location and, despite the surrounding area being a bit noisy, the property itself stays quiet; however, the parking lot is cramped, the food fell short of expectations—our pumpkin salad was basically burnt bits from the pot’s bottom served as a garnish—and when we checked out after two nights they warned us that a one‑hour late departure would incur an extra charge. As a regular business traveler to Daegu who usually returns regardless of distance, I found the reservation handling and these extra fees unreasonable.

I liked the spot—right in the main district, close to the square, a short walk to the subway, and plenty of department stores nearby. The rooms felt cramped and hot, so I had to go to the front desk for air conditioning, probably a seasonal issue. There was no washing machine, and while breakfast was decent, it left something to be desired.

The room’s position and size were fine, but the staff were unpleasant, the cleaning was merely adequate, and trying to check in before 15:00 will cost you 30,000 won for arriving a couple of hours early.
