The staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean, and we dined at the pub where the food was delicious and good value. Breakfast was included.

This village pub has rooms above, keeps it simple, and that’s part of its charm; we dined there with a straightforward but plentiful and well‑priced meal, left before breakfast was officially served, and received a packed breakfast that went down very well; the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, and the room was clean—thanks to the ladies who looked after us.
