The resort itself was nice and the beds were comfortable, but the drive from any activity or store was a bit of a trek and parking was a nightmare—often circling the lots for 5‑10 minutes just to find an open spot.

The studio had all the essentials: dishes, a coffee pot, and a fridge, yet the coffee pot was tiny and slow, the neighboring room let music and weed smell seep through, unit 24 offered no view, and even though dogs were supposedly banned, a barking neighbor’s dog kept bothering us whenever we left our room.

Parking was easy right next to the cabin, and being at the water’s edge for fishing, close to the pool, and not far from town was great, but despite a confirmed arrival time we had to wait 15‑20 minutes in the heat for our cabin; we were told we could change into swimwear and use the pool but felt uneasy, and a menu in the room would have helped decide whether to eat in town.

Everything was thoughtfully arranged for a traveler’s needs, and the water access was excellent.
