A very nice, well‑kept, quiet countryside setting near Vejér and Los Caños de Meca, with a friendly, attentive host who’s there if you need anything; there’s a fridge in the shared storage and the pool towels are included. The room had no good scent and was very hot even though temperatures weren’t high; the pool was somewhat neglected, with dirt at the bottom and many insects in the water, making the swim unpleasant.

We were thrilled by the beautiful, green grounds and the calm atmosphere, especially at night, and the pool area was perfect for unwinding. Christine proved to be a very friendly host, and we had several pleasant chats with her. Her vegan breakfast was excellent and left no sense of missing meat. The friendly cats added another sweet touch to our stay. On the downside, there were a lot of people who, already in the afternoon and especially at the pool, started the “buffet” early. The host can’t control that, but you should definitely pack some Gelsenspray!

The pool was nice. The location was problematic, with poorly marked access and rough paths. There was no air conditioning, no ceiling fan, no room service, no mini fridge in the room, and no TV.

The house is a marvel, tastefully decorated and very clean, making it a perfect spot to relax near the beach. Christine is wonderful and very kind. Definitely a place to return to.
