The green dome is in a strategic position both for being reached from the airport via the Prestia Comandè bus and for exploring the centre of Palermo. Just a stone’s throw from Vucciria and the Massimo theatre. Absolutely recommended!!! The self‑check‑in is clear and fast, and the instructions were perfect! A cigarette holder is missing, which is essential for smokers. The room is non‑smoking but has two outdoor balconies, so I imagine those who choose it for the possibility of smoking outside would want a cigarette holder. That’s the only thing I feel I should add.

The spot is amazing, just a two‑minute walk from Teatro Massimo and the airport bus stop is close by.

The location is spot‑on and the accommodation is spotless and well equipped, but the street noise is annoying, especially on weekends when the room sits under a bar playing music late into the night; even with the windows shut the sound isolation falls short.

The air conditioning works, the room comes fully furnished and even has a coffee machine if you want to brew a cup in bed; the check‑in was clear and straightforward. However, the shower in the bathroom was problematic – the main shower head didn’t deliver water, only the small nozzle worked, which was hard to lift despite attempts, and turning the knob only let water run through the connecting pipes; additionally the two rechargeable lamps on the bedside tables wouldn’t light up.
