“Overall, a good value for the price paid, when having 2 king beds is preferable.”
The experience with the shower was exceptional. The shower head was around 7 feet high, (perfect for me, being over 6 feet tall), with remarkable volume and pressure. The A/C was off upon arrival, so the room was warm to start with, but after about an hour, the temperature was comfortable and the A/C unit was simple to operate. The handle on the door to our room was hard to operate, requiring turning it down hard in order to open the door. I attribute his to someone previously, apparently, using a crowbar on the door jamb and latch, obviously damaging the door frame and possibly bending the mechanism a little. The lock did latch completely and the interior, manual door lock functioned perfectly, so we felt secure. I was surprised that there were initially only 2 sets of towels & washcloths in the room, necessitating my quick return to the desk to request more. You’d think that a room with 2 king beds would warrant 4 sets of towels & washcloths or that the clerk might’ve thought to provide us with more at check-in, since we’d paid for a family of 4 to stay in the room. Lastly, there really should’ve been a lamp of some kind on or over the small desk in the room, since the closest light to the desk was around 16 feet away from it. This meant that it was difficult to see what you were doing while seated at the desk
“Probably wouldn’t stay again.”
I was close to my work event, but the counter staff were busy booking rooms on the phone while I was checking in, so I had to wait. There were no blankets on the beds, only a top sheet and a regular sheet. I booked a king suite but was given two double beds instead, with two sad pillows per bed and mismatched linens. I was glad I didn’t need the pull‑out couch, which looked scary. The vending machines and pool looked unused for over a decade. The shower curtain rod was hanging by a thread. I stayed in room 131. The whole property feels like they don’t try because they don’t have to or want to. The two nights originally cost $175, but the price jumped to $230 with pets.
The room was clean, quiet, and the staff were kind and helpful when I needed them.
“I was really disappointed with the place since it showed four stars on the site”
I found bugs in the room, the pillows were half the usual size, and the towels were too small to dry off properly.
“Compared to past stays, I was only disappointed in the filth of the room. It had an unpleasant smell and filth was prese”
The place was quiet and the staff were friendly, but the room was dirty and looked like a crime scene.
