Khon Kaen Orchid Hotel

“If you make a trip to Khon Kaen short or long stay at The Orchid Hotel”

Everything! Manager Cindy handled everything, she is so friendly and kind. The owner checks in all the time to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. I wish I could have stayed longer 😁.

“Charming place”

Great location, very nice stuff, a big room within walking distance of the center. I loved it. Thank you so much ❤️🙏. No alveolar so. 😅

We arrived at 08:00 even though check‑in was scheduled for 14:00, and the housekeeping team had already cleared the room so we could move in right away—thanks a ton! The hotel sits right next to a department store, which is super convenient.

“Excellent and helpful staff. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms. Parking. Priced a bit too high”

I’ve stayed here several times and the spot is great. When it’s busy, parking can be a hassle, but they try hard to keep spots available on the property (it wasn’t an issue this time). Breakfast is decent, though they only serve instant coffee even though it starts at 7 am. The receptionist—a Thai woman with round glasses who seems to be there around the clock—is excellent and very helpful. The room comes with a small fridge and a tiny safe. Walking around the area isn’t recommended because of the many soi dogs that gather near a temple. There’s no 7‑Eleven, modern convenience stores, or good restaurants within walking distance, so you really need a car or motorcycle—even though the main shopping centre is very close. I might be wrong, but for this stay the room price seemed higher than what it’s worth in my opinion. If you want a full‑service hotel and are willing to pay a bit more, there are many other options. Maybe it’s time to renovate the rooms, bathrooms, and replace the heavy wooden chairs.
