“Absolut außergewöhnliches Erlebnis”
Staying at a quinta right in the vineyards of the Durou Valley is a dream for anyone who has driven through the valley, and this place makes that dream come true; the quinta has been lovingly transformed into the ultimate holiday home, and the first time you enter the house you are almost overwhelmed by the natural stone walls. Still, nothing is missing here – even a spacious pool with a roof terrace invites you to enjoy this gem. The view down over the vineyards to the Durou is like from another star. Despite all the enthusiasm for the accommodation itself, one must say that the real highlight here is Margarida and her family. The breakfast, freshly brought each day and waiting for you right when you get up, was extraordinary and ultimately too plentiful… 😅 If you want to experience true and honest Portugal away from the almost unbearable tourist crowds, this is exactly the right place. We sincerely hope we will be allowed to experience it again.
