The location is great, but the cleanliness is a serious issue; I've stayed in many hostels and this one is definitely among the worst, especially in Japan where it feels almost unacceptable. The bedding is damp, the floor is dusty, and the public areas are even worse.

The station is close and the price is cheap. However, hair littered the floor, making me uneasy about the cleaning standards.

The place is conveniently located near the Marine Liner to Okayama and a 7‑Eleven just a two‑minute walk away, so it can work if you’re in a rush and need a bed, but nothing more. The room is not clean at all and the locks are faulty. It’s open 24/7, so anyone can basically walk in, though there is a camera at the entrance. I just didn’t feel comfortable.

It’s near the station and the Arena venue. The check‑in had no staff; I had to read the tablet and desk instructions and still didn’t know which room I was supposed to be in.
