The restaurant served very good food, but a cockroach appeared in my room and the sheets smelled musty.

Except for the restaurant Annapoorna, everything else was a terrible experience. Air con was leaking, wifi was bad, they didn't clean the room, front desk was not very helpful. I booked a taxi from Kumbakonam to Thiruvanamalai. 3 taxis came to pick me up. Apparently one of their employee tried to give the business to their own friend for commission which was revealed later. The standard of this hotel was not good anymore. I will not stay here anymore

The stay was comfortable, especially thanks to the cleanliness and pleasant ambience, and the food was good in every way. From the moment of booking, the service was solid, and even after many years I still notice the same level of maintenance and cleanliness everywhere—nothing comparable.
