Getting there from Corbridge station was easy on foot and the nearby shops and cafés were convenient. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern. Our room at the back of the Inn, overlooking the carpark, was quiet at night. The cooked breakfast was good. The continental breakfast was a bit minimal, offering only 2 cereals, toast and pastry, with no fruit or yogurt.

The location was good, the prices reasonable, and the food tasty. All was fine, except one bar staff member seemed uninterested and made me feel like an inconvenience.
