“Adequate on a budget, but very dated facility.”

I didn't feel crowded, but the property sits off a main thoroughfare and the surrounding area is full of construction. Getting in was a hassle because I had to make a barely‑possible u‑turn and missed a construction barrier.

“Great find!”

The location was great and the room was large. Even though it’s a 1960s motel, it matched our needs perfectly. There was a full‑size fridge/freezer, a table for meals and another for the computer. It turned out to be a charming and pleasant surprise.

“I arrived late, after midnight. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet.”

I never tried the breakfast because I forgot it was offered. I booked at the last minute after a 3.5‑hour flight into Mesa, arriving at 11:30, and decided not to drive to Maricopa. The motel is old but kept clean enough, though the bathroom mirrors were mounted too high on the wall.

The staff were welcoming, the room was large, the kitchen was full, and it stayed clean even though it’s dated. It was quiet, but the neighborhood could be improved.
