The area is quiet. The room was fine. Parking was available. The cleanliness could be better, and the décor feels old‑fashioned.

The staff were very helpful and kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. The Wi‑Fi was unstable. There was no optional breakfast, which is odd for such a large hotel. The location isn’t great. The price didn’t include taxes or the tourist tax, so the final bill was 50 MYR higher than shown on the platform, a practice that’s not common in Malaysia and caught us off guard. These fees weren’t transparently presented. We give the staff 10/10 for friendliness and service, but only 2/10 for location and price transparency.

Everything was clean and there was no odor at all – especially the pillows and the bathroom, which made the stay very comfortable and the housekeeping was thorough, though I couldn’t find a hair‑dryer, which was the only minor gripe.
