The hotel was closed and under renovation even though I had received a message from the property about my arrival; they offered me another hotel at the same price but without a pool. I still recommend the Yamour View for its stunning pyramid view and the very helpful, kind owner.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the pyramids entrance via a quiet little street; we were given a room with street view and the windows effectively block out noise. The American‑style breakfast was good and they provided a small water bottle. The staff are always attentive and friendly.
