Bern Youth Hostel, centrally located in Bern, reopened in 2018 after extensive refurbishment. A garden terrace hosts chess and morris games. Guests choose private or shared rooms, all with free Wi‑Fi. The common area offers a music box, TV, table tennis, and tabletop football. Breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner, and proximity to Parliament, Aare River, Marzilli pool, and Oktogon spa.

The calmness, proximity to the city center, and the Aar make it very good for a night; nothing to add.

Breakfast was varied and good, and a staff member made sure everything was always restocked; however, it was a bit loud because a school class was there, and a chair in the room to put clothes on would have been helpful.
